Things

Just watched “back to the future” again.  Haven’t seen that movie in over 10 years.  One of the best flicks ever made!

Beyond ordinary

It’s not easy being an idiot savant.  I mastermind incredibly successful things, but I’ve also taken enormous risks, both business and personal, because I’m bored by the ordinary and I always try to live beyond the usual limits.  It takes a very unique individual to handle me and my lifestyle.  I think people misunderstand me.  And it really sucks when things go bad.  I want people to be happy, even if they don’t believe me when I say that.

The Worlds are Colliding

Aaah, the irony that I help run the venue that’s hosting the Affiliate Ball tonight in Las Vegas…

Vegas and heartless bitches etc.

I’m surrounded by awesome, fun, kind people who visit Vegas to have a good time, scumbags and thieves who choose to work in Vegas, and heartless bitches who have been victimized by evil all around them who were born and raised in Vegas.  I love the city for the opportunity and the hustle.  I hate the city because some people are just awful here.  Yet I’d take Vegas over anywhere else in America because it’s where I can always make a living just by knowing the game better than most.

Evil

When evil infiltrates and ultimately controls something that is SO good, the only way to truly preserve the good is to eradicate the evil.

SPOT ON!

My friend Amanda wrote this the other day, and holy shit, its SPOT ON.  I *just* dealt with something along these lines yesterday, and haven’t figured out how to handle it yet…

She wrote: You don’t just throw people out of your life because they do or say something you don’t agree with, hang out with or date someone you don’t think they should, don’t take your side on a certain subject/situation/argument, accomplish something you haven’t, or actually keep moving forward with their life when you’re stuck - even when they tried to help you keep moving when you asked for help. If you’re just going to throw everyone out of your life that you can’t drag down with you or manipulate, or who aren’t acting like your best friend, then you never deserved to have those amazing people as friends in the first place. The universe doesn’t revolve around any one person.

Shawshank Redemption is definitely one of the greatest movies ever made.  Last scene makes a grown man cry every time.
